2 Wing Brats
Modified Final Details

SOME FINAL NOTES:

The time is near and plans are complete but, now to experience the moment! For those who maybe thinking about it; remember that it took forty years to reach this point and in view of the fact most of us will not be around in another forty years; take advantage of this unique lifetime experience; REGISTER NOW !

Take a look again at the last message; "MEMORIES ARE MADE OF THIS" for information on time and location for events. The registration desk will be situated in the lobby of the Ramada Hotel from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. with information about the week-end, Ottawa and things to "see & do".

Some of you have asked about dress code for the week-end. You may have read some of the messages on this topic but, since you asked, we recommend casual on Friday and Sunday and for the more adventurous who may want to resurrect those fifties/sixties wardrobes; do not hesitate as it will surely add to the whole experience. As for Saturday night, semi-formal seems appropriate for our "dinner & dance" or your favorite 50’s/60’s attire.

There will be a photographer on Saturday evening. He will be prepared to take photos of couples, groups, old friends, new friends, individuals or whatever arrangement you may want. For this he will charge a fee of $15/photo (5x7) to be paid up-front in cash (only). He will develop and deliver the pictures on Sunday, at the brunch, by 1:00 P.M.

Parking is available along Lisgar and Cartier St. after 6:00 P.M. at the metered locations. There are spaces for parking at the grey building adjacent to the mess building. It’s a school and the mess has confirmed that the spaces can be used. There is also a parking lot at the corner of Cartier and Cooper which charges $5.00 for the evening. City hall has underground parking but it closes at mid-night. There is a day-care centre adjacent to city hall with designated parking for the centre. These parking spaces can be used. Do not park in the parking spaces surrounding the mess.

We recommend you not eat before arriving as we have arranged a menu for the "Meet & Greet" Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch. It’s a cash bar and the prices are listed at the military’s rate.

Just in! - Mr. Tret, one of the teachers, will be bringing his slide projector and many slides - sure to bring back memories of track meets, school elections, and so on, as well as demonstrating that the teachers and the students weren’t so different from each other, after all! Mr. Tret will make his projector available for viewing any slides you may be able to dig out in time for the big weekend.

Ottawa is a non-smoking city.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact a member of the committee.

AND NOW, "the time is near "
