Welcome to the Grostenquin 2006 Reunion registration/information page. This reunion is open to former or present military, their families and any civilian personnel.
The costs for the Grostenquin Reunion will be $150.00 (Canadian) per person and this will include the following:
Friday May 5,2006 - Meet and Greet
Saturday May 6,2006 - Bus Tour of the Airfield/PMQ's, school, "DINNER DANCE"
Sunday May 7,2006 - Free for you to do your own touring
Monday May 8,2006 - Wreaths to be placed at the Armistice Day Celebration in Faulquemont, after which we will join the mayor of Faulquemont for a vin D'Honner (free wine). Gifts to our French hosts/hostesses.
Should there be any funds left over we will give you a refund when you pick up your package upon arrival. This package will include a detailed statement of costs and expenses as well as your identification badge which is also your pass onto the base. The requirements from the French government as to the base tour is that when we arrive at the base we will board French military buses, and we are told that we will be allowed to walk around. Base admittance is only allowed on the tour buses..
We are giving you a cut-off date of November 30, 2005 for receipt of your registration and monies. We urge you to do this early as we are now receiving many enquiries and feel that this tour could well hit the cut-off mark early and we do not want any of you to be disappointed. We ask that your payments be made out to "Grostenquin Reunion Account". This account has been opened with Des Desbiens, Gordon and Christine Eden as signature authorities with a requirement of any two signatures. However, Gordon Eden and Christine Eden cannot be the 2 signatures. It must be Gordon and Des, or Des and Christine. The account is a savings account so that any interest accrued will go toward the expenses. Please fill out the attached registration form.
