Welcome to the 2 (F) Wing Grostenquin France Web Site!

R.C.A.F. 1957-1979
Webmaster - Historian

This website is dedicated to my late husband, Ren L'Ecuyer. Ren developed each website with passion and fervor - truly a labour of love for him. Many times during our conversations over the years, Ren had asked if, on his passing, I would keep the websites going for an indefinite period of time - perhaps with the thought that eventually someone might like to take up where he left off. I've endeavored to honour that request since July 2005
Lastly, I'd like to thank all of you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Margaret L'Ecuyer, Webmaster
Memorials
On Sunday, June 04, 2006, a Heritage Stone was laid at the Comox Air Force Museum Heritage Air Park in Comox, B.C. in Ren's honour.
On the morning of Saturday, September 30, 2006, at the Trenton R.C.A.F. Museum in Trenton, Ontario, a memorial bench was dedicated in honour of Ren's work as web master and historian. Refreshments followed at the Fireside Room on the base. Later in the afternoon, Ren's Ad Astra stone was one of those dedicated at the annual ceremony.

**** Important Message ****
Dear friends,
It is with regret that I inform you, that it has become apparent to me, that I can no longer maintain the websites in the current manner. Therefore, as of May 1st, 2009, the Guest Book and Message areas will no longer be accepting entries. Old guest book entries, message areas and the database, as well as photos and other information, will still be accessible for viewing only. Since the database email information changes so rapidly, we will be removing the email information as of May 1st, 2009.
Further to this, as of December 31st, 2009, the websites will no longer be active.
I do appreciate all of your past comments, acknowledgements and support. I know that Ren would be proud of how much you have stood behind me in trying to keep the websites alive.
Sincerely,
Margaret L'Ecuyer
